Sledging
Book Your Holiday NowNight Sledging
There’s nothing quite like the night sledging experience in Morzine. It’s fun, exhilarating and is a really unique way to spend some extra time on the slopes when everyone else has gone home. Night sledging takes place at the top of the Pleney once skiing has finished for the day. An instructor gives you a sledge and a head torch and leads you down Piste B (edge of the Pleney) back to the lively apres bars at the bottom of the slopes. It’s loads of fun and you’ll be lucky if you manage to stay in your sledge the whole way down! Guided tours take place most evenings.
Family sledging
There are also plenty of places in Morzine and Les Gets to go sledging as a family. At the bottom of the Chavannes in Les Gets there’s a dedicated area for families with small children. In Morzine, the base of the Pleney is a popular sledging spot because you can also have a couple of drinks at any of the bars that back onto the piste. Most sports shops rent sledges out for very little. This is a cheap and fun way to keep the family entertained for hours.
