Work at Reach4TheAlps

Looking for an amazing job in the beautiful French Alps? Get in Touch

Reach4thealps is a small private chalet company run by Gina and Marcus Ewart. We are both very keen skiers and love the outdoors, after many years of visiting the Alps on holiday and working several seasons doing all the chalet jobs possible from head chef to head loo cleaner we decided to set up on our own.

Last season was our 15th season running Reach4thealps and we now have a portfolio of 9 catered and 6 self-catered properties in the Morzine Les Gets area. All the chalets are of a high standard but what ensures our repeat rate stays high is the level of customer service, high standard of catering we offer along with the help of our staff which is why we need to continue to have motivated, capable and happy staff. Our chalets are highly ranked on TripAdvisor so we need to, as a minimum keep this ranking but ideally improve on these positions every year ! As it is our own business we take great pride in looking after our guests and ensuring they have a fantastic holiday.

If you want to work as part of a team, in a lovely chalet, in a fantastic resort and think the job description suits you please email us with your CV, a cover letter explaining why you’d like to work for us and a photo introducing yourself.

Chalet Housekeeping

We have a great opportunity for a couple or 2 friends to spend a winter season in the Alps with plenty of time for skiing.

We are looking 2 people to each work 18 hours on average a week during the 18 weeks of the season, so 288 hours each in the season. The work will be cleaning of our self-catered apartments and welcoming guests. This will be mostly at the weekends (approx 6-8 hours each Saturday and Sunday and then some weeks help for 2-3 hours on Wednesday and Thursday mornings at our catered chalets when they have mid week cleans).

In return for work we will provide the rent of a room in a central 2 bedroom apartment with all utilities (water and electric) bills and WiFi included. The rent for this accommodation would normally be €3000 per person for the season. So in total €6000 in return for 576 hours of work between the 2 of you.  The couple or friends will be (although strictly speaking not working full time for Reach4thealps) part of the team and included in all staff outings and team events (paid for by Reach4thealps).

Looking for a presentable, trustworthy, reliable, hardworking considerate couple/friends who have cleaning/housekeeping experience and have a nice, friendly, enthusiastic but professional manner for welcoming guests and helping them with any queries and who can use their initiative to organise themselves so that the cleaning gets done thoroughly but quickly. Most of our guests are English speaking but we do have some French guests so if one or both have some spoken French that would be helpful!
