Off Piste Short Stay

With Geneva being so close, Morzine and Les Gets, make an ideal base for short stays. The Portes Du Soleil  is the largest linked ski area in the world and is ideal for advanced skiers and boarders and depending on the weather generally has fantastic off piste waiting to be discovered.

If you are short for time or want to have a taste of what off-piste skiing is like, why not try our 4 night "off piste" short stay. Arrive Wednesday night and depart Sunday to have 3 full days on the slopes with Jean- Luc Tamini, a local French high mountain guide, who knows all the great off piste routes and hidden gems in the area. Jean Luc will give you tips on tackling different snow conditions, advise on avalanche awareness and safety on the mountain. Level of skiing/boarding that is required is advanced (confident on red runs and able to do black runs on the piste).

4 night stay in a fully catered high quality chalet, 3 days off piste with qualified high mountain guide, snow shovel and avalanche bleepers provided, return transfers to Geneva, price guide 895 euros pp (minimum of 6 to run the course). Dates available w/c the 8th, 22nd and 1st of March 2009. Enquire now.

Jean-Luc not only knows the Portes Du Soleil like the back of his hand he also knows all the best mountain restaurants, the aim of the week is to "ski the mountain", find the best snow and depending on conditions get fresh tracks and above all have an exhilarating holiday.
