Multi Activity Week StayWe found the Mulit- activity stay to be very popular last summer and offers fantastic value especially with the added benefit of the Multi Pass. Below is an example of a typical week of activities. We can also do multi-activity long weekends coming out on a Thursday for instance and back on a Sunday evening with 3 full days of activities.Saturday. Arrival DayArrive Saturday pick up by Marcus or Gina in one of our mini-buses at Geneva, drive up to resort meet your chalet host and settle into the chalet. Time to check the bikes we have reserved are a good size and everyone is kitted out with helmets and elbow and knee pads for the next days mountain biking. Aperitif and canapes are served at 7.30pm and dinner at 8pm.Sunday. Half Day Mountain BikingBreakfast and then meet your mountain bike guide at the chalet who will chat through the plan for the day after sussing out the various levels of the group. We start off with an easy circuit in any case to let everyone get used to the bikes and the terrain generally in the Morzine-Les Gets area using the lifts to minimise the up and maximise the downhill. The level can be from novice mountain bikers to expert (but obviously not together, in this case we would need to split the group). Whatever your level you will find the scenery stunning and get the most out of the area guided by a local guide form the area.Finish between midday and 1pm, choice is yours whether to keep the bikes and do some more biking that afternoon or perhaps take it easy and head to the pool or have a game of tennis, wander round town, chill out at the chalet, its up to you. Monday. Half Day White Water Rafting.Breakfast then into the mini-bus for the half an hour trip down to the rafting centre. Equipped with wetsuit, helmet its off for an hour and an exhilarating ride down the rapids and jumps off rocks and capsizing for those up for it. Depending on the weather back for lunch at the chalet or enjoy a picnic down by Lake Geneva. In the afternoon enjoy some free time to play a game of tennis go for a swim or simply relax with a book on the balcony at the chalet. BBQ dinner in the evening.Tuesday. Half Day Canyoning At Nyon WaterfallMore wet adventure this time down the Nyon canyon. Starting with a 20m abseil from a bridge this is one of the most exhilarating activities, under the watchful eye of your mountain guide you will make your way down the canyon, jumping, abseiling, swimming and sliding down natural slides in the rock.If that wasn't enough adventure for you for one day why not try a tandem paraglide in the afternoon or simply for a nice walk, game of golf or relax at the pool. In the evening you will be served a typical Savoyard meal accompanied by local wines. Wednesday. Free DayBreakfast will be laid out for the you the evening before and today you are free to do your own thing, whether it be another days mountain biking, a self guided walk, there's plenty to choose from. In the evening eat out in a local restaurant we can recommend and book one for you.Thursday. Adventure Park, Ropes CourseAfter breakfast we will drive you the short distance to the Adventure Park in Les Gets. Harnassed up and wearing rather attractive blue jumpsuits you are all set to tackle the 5 courses (green, blue, red, balck and super black). See photos from last summer on our Gallery PageFriday. Half Day Hydrospeeding. If you are up for even more adventure then we can book an additional activity such as Hydrospeeding. This takes place at the same water centre as the rafting down at the river Dranse. With just a padded wetsuit, helmet, flippers and float you will make your way down the rapids following the line of your guide. For the less brave then have a go at hot dogging (inflatable 2 man canoe). Have the afternoon to yourselves to relax. Enjoy the last evening together in the chalet discussing the weeks events and not wanting your adventure holiday to end! |
