Chalet Sol Re, Morzine

Chalet Sol Re, once a traditional farmhouse has been lovingly renovated into a beautiful unique chalet with lots of character. In the summer we offer self-catered accommodation in either an apartment sleeping up to 6 or one of our 4 studios that all sleep 4. We also have a single room, a double room and a family room sleeping 4, all rooms are en suite. These rooms can be booked by the night on a bed and breakfast basis or by the week in addition to a self-catering studio or the apartment, so that parents can have a room to themselves. For those who are traveling around France or just fancy a short break in the French Alps you can stay for 3 or 4 nights, on a bed and breakfast basis.

Chalet Sol Re in the winter is run on a fully catered basis and sleeps between 20-32 guests.

The chalet is in an idyllic location, situated in a tiny picturesque hamlet called Essert La Pierre, 4km from the centre of Morzine. The hamlet sits up high on the north side of the valley which means we enjoy the sun all day long as well as fantastic views down the valley.

Chalet Sol Re in the Summer

"Roc D'Enfer" is a bright spacious apartment measuring 42sqm, sleeping up 4 to 6. There is a bedroom with 2 bunks and the main room has a double bed and a double sofa bed. The brand new bathroom is spacious and has a full size bath with a shower attachment. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchenette, with 4 hobs, an oven and a fridge and there is a dining table and 6 chairs. French doors lead onto a large south facing balcony which has an outdoor table and chairs, parasol and clothes line. The view from the balcony is just spectacular.

"Cote De Arboz" is an exceptionally bright spacious studio, 36sqm. It can sleep 4-6 with a double bed, double sofa bed and 2 bunks that fold down to provide even more space. It has a fully equipped kitchenette, dining table and chairs and plenty of storage and hanging space. There is a brand new bathroom with shower attachment in the bath and French doors lead onto a large south facing balcony. On the balcony you can enjoy the view while eating outdoors. A table, chairs and parasol are provided.

"Ressachaux" is a bright spacious studio, measuring 30sqm and sleeping up to 4 with a double bed and a mezzanine upstairs, that sleeps a further 2 comfortably. The studio has an alpine feel to it with lots of wooden beams and bright alpine curtains and linen. It has a fully equipped kitchenette with 4 ring gas hob, electric oven and fridge and a brand new bathroom fitted April 2006. The studio has a sofa settee, dining table and chairs. French doors lead onto a large south facing balcony with a table and chairs provided.

"Mont Chery" is a bright and spacious studio, measuring 30sqm that sleeps 4 with a double bed and a mezzanine. It is situated on the top floor of Chalet Sol Re, next door to "Ressachaux" studio and has tremendous views down the valley. The studio has a fully equipped kitchenette, a spacious bathroom, plenty of storage and hanging space, a dining table and chairs and a comfortable sofa. French doors lead onto a large south facing balcony. The balcony has an outdoor table, chairs, parasol and clothes line.

"Mont D'Evian" is a lovely bright studio, measuring 30sqm and sleeping 4-6 with a double bed and 2 fold down bunks. There is also a fold down sofa bed in the lounge area. The studio has a fully equipped kitchenette, dining table and chairs, a brand new bathroom fitted April 2006 and there is plenty of storage and hanging space. The studio faces south and gets sun all day through the French doors which lead onto a large balcony. The balcony has an outdoor table, chairs and a parasol and offers stunning views down the valley.
